We will provide labor and delivery on our Winston-Salem campus. We look forward to sharing more details in the future.
Both will be beautiful, patient- and family-centered facilities with the latest technology and equipment needed for all types of deliveries and neonatal care. If a baby should need emergency care, our new expanded NICU will be located on-site within Brenner Children’s Hospital and immediately accessible.
Absolutely, most moms want to deliver their babies as close to home as possible, so we will continue delivering babies at Lexington, Wilkes and High Point medical centers.
We started delivering babies the day we opened on May 28, 1923, and we have never stopped. The decision was made in 1974 to deliver higher-risk pregnancies and care for babies needing specialized care on the Winston-Salem campus.
